Supposedly the mayan calendar has been accurate on many things. I have heard several people refer to the 2012 date for the world to come to an end but I didn't know it was due to the axis tilt. I think there have been several similar predictions which haven't (obviously) come to pass so I'm hoping this one won't either! I won't even have my PHd by then.

What? NO! I don't believe none of that crap.Why do people give importance to such things? Getting themselves worried over nothing.
